Abstract
Plastika je zbog svoje široke upotrebe prisutna u svim dijelovima okoliša, gdje štetno utječe na različite sastavnice okoliša, a toksični spojevi koje adsorbira prenose se kroz hranidbeni lanac te s vremenom dolaze do čovjeka. Male dimenzije mikroplastike stvaraju poteškoće pri detekciji, identifikaciji, a posebice pri uklanjaju mikroplastike iz okoliša. Potrebno je razviti ili unaprijediti već postojeće metode detekcije i kvantifikacije te provesti zakonsku regulativu kojom bi se smanjilo ispuštanje mikroplastike u okoliš.
Abstract (english)
Plastic, due to its wide use, is present in all parts of the environment, where it unfavorably affects various components of the environment, and the toxic compounds that it adsorbs are transmitted through the food chain and by time reach humans. Small dimensions of microplastics create difficulties in detection, identification and especially in displacement of microplastics from the environment. It is necessary to develop or improve already existing methods of detection and quantification, as well as implement legislation that would reduce the release of microplastics into the environment.
