Abstract
Mikroonečišćivala su sveprisutna u vodenom okolišu što je rezultat suvremenog načina života. U vodenim tijelima pojavljuju se u vrlo niskim koncentracijama kao organska ili anorganska kemijska onečišćenja. Iako je većina ovih spojeva prisutna u niskim koncentracijama, mnogi od njih izazivaju znatne toksikološke učinke, osobito kada su prisutni kao komponente složenih smjesa. Cilj ovog rada je istraživanjem znanstvene literature dati opsežni prikaz različitih metoda za ispitivanje vodene toksičnosti mikroonečišćivala, u odnosu na (morske) i slatkovodne organizme (Vibrio fischeri, Daphnia magna, Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata). Ispitivanjem toksičnosti tvari se mogu kategorizirati prema njihovoj biološkoj aktivnosti i / ili njihovom učinku na biološke sustave uz praćenje kvalitete vode i procjenu rizika. Napredne analitičke metode imaju značajnu ulogu u analizi vrlo kompleksnih uzoraka u smislu dobivanja kompleksnijeg uvida u stupanj onečišćenja. Pri tome biološke metode, imaju prednost u odnosu na fizikalno-kemijske jer su brze, jednostavne i ekonomski isplative. Omogućavaju dobivanje pouzdanih rezultata za veći broj uzoraka koji sadrže kemijski različite onečišćujuće tvari, i time istovremeno pružaju mogućnost brze procjene izloženosti populacije organskim i anorganskim onečišćujućim tvarima.
Abstract (english)
Micropollutants are all present in the aquatic environment as a result of modern way of life. In water they appear in very low concentrations as organic or inorganic chemical contaminants. Although most of these compounds are present in the low concentrations, many of them cause significant toxicological effects, especially when present as components of complex mixtures. The aim of this paper is to research the scientific literature to give extensive review of different methods for testing the aquatic toxicity of micropollutants, in relation to (marine) and freshwater organisms (Vibrio fischeri, Daphnia magna, Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata). By toxicity testing, substances can be categorized according to their biological activities and / or their effect on biological systems with water quality monitoring and assessment risk. Advanced analytical methods play a significant role in the analysis of very complex samples in terms of gaining a more complex insight into the degree of pollution. In doing so, biological methods have an advantage over physico-chemical methods because they are fast, simple and economical. They allow to obtain reliable results for a large number of samples containing chemically different pollutants, and at the same time provide the possibility of rapid assessment exposure of the population to both organic and inorganic pollutants.
