Abstract
Nuklearne elektrane su složeni sustavi koji zahtijevaju visoke sigurnosne standarde radi sprječavanja katastrofalnih nesreća i zaštite okoliša. Proizvodnja radioaktivnog otpada tijekom rada nuklearnih elektrana te potencijalne prijetnje uzrokovane ljudskim greškama ili prirodnim katastrofama predstavljaju operativne rizike. Kontinuirane analize i istraživanja za identifikaciju potencijalnih prijetnji su nužne za unaprjeđenje sigurnosnih mjera. Upravljanje radioaktivnim otpadom zahtijeva odgovarajuće metode zbrinjavanja kako bi se minimalizirali negativni utjecaji na okoliš i ljudsko zdravlje. Kroz kontinuirano istraživanje i razvoj, nuklearne elektrane mogu postati još pouzdaniji i održiviji izvor električne energije u budućnosti.
Abstract (english)
Nuclear power plants are complex systems that require high safety standards to prevent catastrophic accidents and protect the environment. The production of radioactive waste during their operation and the potential threats posed by human error or natural disasters present operational risks. Ongoing analysis and research are essential for identifying potential threats and enhancing safety measures. Managing radioactive waste demands appropriate disposal methods to minimize negative impacts on the environment and human health. Through continuous research and development, nuclear power plants can evolve into even more reliable and sustainable sources of electricity in the future.
