Abstract
Fotokataliza je jedna od ekološki prihvatljivih tehnologija koja ima važnu ulogu u rješavanju globalnih ekoloških problema oslanjajući se na razvoj novih tehnologija. Danas sve više svjedočimo važnim dostignućima koji nadilaze “tradicionalno” kemijsko inženjerstvo, a obično se temelje na intenzifikaciji procesa. Intenzifikacija je pristup koji se pojavio kao posebna grana kemijskog inženjerstva, a može dovesti do uštede energije i smanjenja kapitalnih izdataka, te u konačnici ekološkim i sigurnosnim poboljšanjima postojećih procesa. Ovaj rad daje pregled pojedinih metoda koje se koriste za intenzifikaciju fotokatalitičkih procesa u svrhu njihova poboljšanja.
Abstract (english)
Photocatalysis is one of the eco-friendly technologies that plays an important role in solving global environmental problems by relying on the development of new technologies. Today, we are witnessing important new developments that go beyond “traditional” chemical engineering and are usually based on process intensification. Intensification is an approach that has emerged as a special discipline of chemical engineering and can lead to savings in energy and a reduction in capital expenditure, resulting in environmental and safety benefits as well. This study provides an overview of certain methods used for the intensification of photocatalytic processes in order to improve them.
