Abstract
Cilj ovog rada je priprava i istraživanje svojstva nanofluida na osnovi repičinog ulja s dvije vrste ugljikovih nanocijevi (MWCNT) uz dodatak površinski aktivnih tvari (PAT), određivanje utjecaja duljine nanocijevi na stabilnost i svojstva nanofluida, s posebnim naglaskom na toplinsku vodljivost. Eksperimentalni dio je proveden u dva dijela i u oba je cilj bio odrediti površinski aktivnu tvar koja omogućava najveću stabilnost sustava te koje ugljikove nanocijevi omogućuju bolju stabilnost i veću toplinsku vodljivost. U oba dijela se koristilo repičino ulje kao bazni fluid uz dodatak istih PAT. U prvom dijelu su se koristile duže ugljikove nanocijevi, duljine 50 μm, a u drugoj kraće, duljine 1.5 μm. Stabilnost nanofluida ispitana je sedimentacijskim testom, vizualno, UV-VIS spektrofotometrijom, gdje su snimljeni apsorpcijski spektri uzoraka. Stabilnost je prikazana kao raspršenost MWCNT-a u baznom fluidu. Karakterizacija nanofluida provedena je i određivanjem viskoznosti te toplinske vodljivosti.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this work is to prepare and to explore properties of nanofluids based on rapeseedoil with two types of multi walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) with the addition of surfactants (PAT), determining the influence of length of the nanotubes on the stability and properties of nanofluids, with special emphasis of thermal condutivity. The experimental part was carried out in two parts and in both the goals were to determine a surfactant that provides the greatest stability of the system and which carbon nanotubes provides the greater stability of the system and the greater thermal conductivity. In both parts as base fluid used was rapeseed oil in addition with the same PAT. In the first part longer carbon nanotubes have been used, the length of 50μm, and in the second the shorter ones, nanocy 7000, the length of 1.5μm. Stability of nanofluids were tested with sedimentation test, visualy, and by using UV-VIS spectrophotometer. The visual method is consisted of photographing the samples of nanofluids and image analysis. UV / VIS absorption spectres of the samples were filmed to determine the stability of nanofluids. The stability is shown in the form of dispersion of MWCNTs in the base fluid. Characterization was carried out by determining viscosity and thermal conductivity of nanofluids.
