Abstract
Cilj ovog rada bio je pripremiti i karakterizirati TPU/ PCL mješavine te odrediti mješljivost TPU i PCL u mješavina različitih masenih omjera. Mješavine termoplastičnog poliuretana (TPU) i polikaprolaktona (PCL) u različitim omjerima (100/0, 80/20, 60/40, 50/50, 40/60, 20/80 i 0/100 mas %) pripravljene su umješavanjem u Brabender gnjetilici. Uzorci mješavina dobiveni su prešanjem na hidrauličkoj preši. Za karakterizaciju čistih TPU, PCL i TPU/PCL mješavina koristila se tehnika diferencijalne pretražne kalorimetrije (DSC), dinamičko-mehaničke analize (DMA) i termogravimetrijska analiza (TGA). Za sve mješavine dobiveno je jedno Tg što znači da su dobivene mješljive mješavine. Tm i Tc PCL u TPU/PCL mješavinama smanjuje sa sastavom mješavina u odnosu na Tm čistog PCL. Toplinska stabilnost TPU/PCL mješavina raste dodatkom i povećanjem udjela PCL u odnosu na čisti TPU.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this work was to preparation and characterization of TPU/ PCL blends and their as well as to determin the miscibility of TPU/PCL blends. Blends of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) and poly (ε-caprolactone) (PCL), (TPU/PCL blends) were prepared with melt mixing (compounding) in Brabender mixer under different TPU/PCL content (100/0, 90/10, 70/30, 50/50, 30/70, 10/90 and 0/100 wt%). The specimens of neat polymers and TPU/PCL blends were molded in hydraulic press. The thermal properties of neat LDPE, PCL polymers and their blends and LDPE/ PCL blends were investigated by dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). A single composition dependent glass transition temperature (from DSC) shows the miscibility of system. Tm and Tc of the PCL component in the blend decrease with an increase in the TPU content, in comparison with that of pure PCL. The thermal stability of the blends was enhenced with the addition of PCL and increase of the PCL content.
