Abstract
Potražnja za čistom vodom porasla je s povećanjem broja stanovnika, klimatskim promjenama i povećanjem industrijalizacije, što predstavlja sve veće probleme u poljoprivredi. To pokazuje da je vrlo važno upravljati raspoloživim vodenim resursima te pronaći nove izvore korištenjem naprednih procesa obrade vode. Cilj ovo rada bila je obrada komunalne otpadne vode u svrhu navodnjavanja. Obrada komunalne otpadne vode provedena je membranskim bioreaktorom (MBR), te nanofiltracijskim (NF) i reverzno... More osmotskim (RO) membranama. Obrada MBR-om provedena je pri tri različita hidraulička vremena zadržavanja (HRT) koji su bili 2,10, 4,42 i 9,26 h. Dobiveni rezultati uspoređeni su s graničnim vrijednostima postojećih zakonskih regulativa kako bi se dobila ocjena prikladnosti vode za navodnjavanje. Rezultati su pokazali da povećanjem HRT-a dolazi do većeg smanjenja ukupnog ugljika (TC), ukupno otopljenog ugljika (DOC), kemijske potrošnje kisika (KPK) i mutnoće. Tako je pri najvećem HRT od 9,26 h došlo do smanjenja navedenih parametara za 52,37 %, 55,67 %, 72,32 % i 99,66 %. Također, pri ovoj obradi dolazi do najvećeg povećanja koncentracije NO3-, ali i najvećeg smanjenja koncentracije NH4+ iona (98,99 %). Obradom s NF i RO membranama dolazi do visokog uklanjanja svih ispitivanih aniona i kationa, gdje su najbolje rezultate dale NF90 i XLE membrana, a najsličnije rezultate njima dala je DK membrana. Tako obrada pomoću NF90 i XLE membrane, zadovoljava najstrože regulative odnosno one dane prema Australiji. Less
Abstract (english)
Requirement for clean water increased with increasing population, climate change and increasing industrialization which is an increasing problem in agriculture. This shows that it is important to manage available water resources and find new sources by using advanced water treatment processes. The aim of this study was the recovery of municipal wastewater for irrigation. Municipal wastewater was treated with a membrane bioreactor (MBR) followed by nanofiltration (NF) and reverse osmosis (RO)... More membranes. MBR treatment was performed at three different hydraulic retention time (HRT) in amouunt of 2.10, 4.42 i 9.26 h. Obtained results were compared with the existing regulations to achieve suitability for irrigation. The results have shown the better rejection in total carbon (TC), dissolved organic carbon (DOC), chemical oxygen demand (COD) and turbidity by increasing a HRT. Thus, with the highest HRT (9.26 h), the mentioned parameters decreased by 52.37 %, 55.67 %, 72.32 % i 99.66 %. Also, the largest increase of NO3-, but also highest reduction in NH4+ (98.99 %) obtained by this treatment. Treatment with NF and RO membranes results in high removal of all investigated anions and cations, where the best results were shown by NF90 and XLE membranes. The most similar results were obtained with DK membrane. So, treatment with NF90 and XLE membranes satisfies the most stringent requirements assigned by Australia. Less
