Abstract
U sklopu razvoja sinteze novih spojeva koji sadrže fotouklonjivu zaštitnu skupinu, u ovom radu studirani su početni koraci priprave aminonaftalenskih derivata. U tu svrhu, detaljno su proučavane reakcije Buchwald-Hartwig-ove aminacije, pri čemu se ispitao utjecaj katalizatora, liganda, baze, amina, otapala, temperature, kao i reakcijskog vremena. Također, proučavane su i aminacije bromnaftalena s dietilaminom ili benzilaminom potpomognute mikrovalnim zračenjem. S obzirom da provedeni eksperimenti nisu dali zadovoljavajuće rezultate, ispitan je početni korak novog sintetskog puta, koji uključuje metiliranje naftilamina. Reakcija je uspješno provedena te je dobiven produkt u iskorištenju od 93%, koji će se koristiti u sljedećim sintetskim koracima.
Abstract (english)
With the aim to prepare new photocages and develop a synthetic methodology for the preparation of aminonaphthalene derivatives, we conducted investigation of the application of Buchwald-Hartwig amination. Therefore, within this thesis we investigated the effect of catalyst, ligand, base, amine, solvents, temperature, and reaction time on the Buchwald-Hartwig amination of naphthalene. Furthermore, we investigated reaction of bromonaphthalene with diethylamine and benzylamine under microvawe irradiation. Since the experiments did not give satisfactory results, the synthetic strategy was changed. Thus, we conducted methylation of naphthylamine instead, which was successfully carried out in 93% yield.
