Abstract
Sorpcija je vrlo važan proces u okolišu jer njime možemo doći do informacije o mogućim štetnim utjecajima farmaceutika na okoliš, a time i na čovjeka. Pravi problem je što nedostaje informacija, te smo u ovome radu ispitali utjecaj farmaceutika prazikvantela na tla i sedimente s područja Republike Hrvatske. Prazikvantel je farmaceutik koji se koristi za liječenje u veterinarskoj medicini kao antihelmintik. Ispitivanjem mehanizma i kinetike sorpcije, utjecaja ionske jakosti i utjecaja pH dobili smo sljedeće rezultate: Za ispitivanje mehanizma sorpcije upotrijebili smo linearnu izotermu, Freundlichovu izotermu i Dubinin-Radushkevichev model izotermi, a najbolje rezultate smo dobili primjenom linearne izoterme. Najbolji opis brzine reakcije daje pseudokinetički model drugog reda. Koeficijent sorpcije raste smanjenjem ionske jakosti i smanjenjem pH vrijednosti otopine. Veće vrijednosti koeficijenta sorpcije imaju uzorci sedimenata u odnosu na uzorke tla. Najveće vrijednosti koeficijenata sorpcije imaju uzorci Bruvno za tlo i Glina za sedimente, a najmanje imaju Dolina za tla i Lonja za sedimente.
Abstract (english)
Sorption is a very important process in the environment because it can provide information about the possible harmful effects of pharmaceuticals on the environment, and therefore on humans. The real problem is the lack of information, and we have investigated the impact of the pharmaceuticals on the soils and sediments from the territory of the Republic of Croatia. Praziquantel is a pharmaceutical used to treat veterinary medicine as an antihelmintic. By examining the mechanism and kinetic of sorption, the influence of ionic strength and the influence of pH we obtained the following results: For the study of the sorption mechanism we used linear isotherm, Freundlich's isotherm and Dubinin-Radushkevich’s model of isotherms, and the best results were obtained using linear isotherms. The best description of the reaction rate is the pseudo-kinetic model of the second order. Sorption coefficient is increased by decreasing the ionic strength and decreasing the pH value. The higher values of the sorption coefficient have sediment samples compare to soil samples. The highest values of sorption coefficients have Bruvno for soils and Glina for sediments, and the smallest values of sorption coefficients have Dolina for soils and Lonja for sediments.
