Abstract
Donedavno se pojam logistike povezivao gotovo isključivo sa transportom i skladišnim poslovanjem. Dolazi do promjena, te se pojavljuje koncept upravljanja integralnom logistikom koji obuhvaća neprekinuti tijek proizvoda kroz distribucijski kanal do krajnjeg korisnika. Integralna logistika je proces predviđanja potreba i želja kupaca, prikupljanje kapitala, materijala, ljudi, tehnologija i informacija potrebnih za ispunjenje tih želja i potreba. Uz integralnu logistiku se povezuju mnoge aktivnosti poput fizičke distribucije, upravljanja materijalima, logistički inženjering, upravljanje distribucijom i dr.
