Abstract
U radu će se definirati pojam logistike te njezine teorijske odrednice, a posebice uloga logističkih mreža. U analizi logističkih mreža prikazati će se plan procesa razvoja istih te operacija potrebnih pri planiranju. Objasniti će se na koji se način pristupa izradi logističkog modela, a glavni istraživački problem biti će pronalaženje načina optimalizacije logističkih mreža u cilju smanjenja troškova i povećanja profita poduzeća. Budući da svako poduzeće ima svoju mrežu poslovnih subjekata te da su međusobno povezani, potrebno je pronaći način kako isporučiti robu na pravo mjesto u pravo vrijeme i to s razinom troškova koja omogućuje željeno zadovoljstvo kupca.
