Abstract
U ovom radu nastojati će se objasniti jedna vrsta umjetnosti – strip. Međutim, ovdje neće biti naglasak na njegovoj umjetničkoj strani već više na tehničkoj. U drugom poglavlju objasniti će se što se podrazumijeva pod stripom te njegov nastanak. Fokus će biti na dva glavna žarišta: Ameriku i njezine super-heroje te Japan i njegove mange. Na kraju ove cjeline ukratko će se dati uvid u povijest stripa u Hrvatskoj te tko danas dominira tim područjem.
