Abstract
U navedenom radu glavni naglasak je na opisivanju distribuiranih baza podataka. Za primjer distribuiranih sustava uzeta je Cassandra te je objašnjeno njeno funkcioniranje. U cilju što boljeg opisa spojena su tri čvora u jedan Cassandrin klaster nad kojim su se vršila testiranja. U svrhu testiranja te usporedbe sa relacijskim bazama podataka uzet je MSSQL Server kao primjer istih. U konačnici naveden je zaključak o distribuiranim bazama podataka.
