Abstract
Ovaj rad pruža uvid u četiri najzastupljenije metode za modeliranje poslovnih procesa. Uključuje njihovu usporedbu, prikaz osnovnih koncepata i razliku u modeliranju ovisno o svrsi. To su metode BPMN 2.0 (Business Process Model and Notation), EPC (Event-driven process chain), UML 2.0 (Unified Modeling Language) i IDEF3 (Integrated DEFinition methods) koje su najpoznatije metode za modeliranje poslovnih procesa. U radu postoji i poglavlje o modeliranju ovisno o svrsi izrade modela koje uspoređuje dva alata koje je izdao IBM. Oba alata su za modeliranje poslovnih procesa, no jedan se koristi za simulacije i unaprjeđenje, a drugi za izradu web aplikacije. U konačnici bi čitatelj trebao razumjeti osnovne koncepte metoda za modeliranje i uvidjeti osnovne razlike među njima.
