Abstract
Moderni način poslovanja donosi velike izazove za poduzeće. Poduzeće se mora truditi poboljšati rad svih svojih funkcija kako bi ostalo konkurentno na tržištu. Jedan od načina dostizanja tog cilja jest integracija logistike u ostale funkcije poduzeća, odnosno korištenje logistike u svrhu poboljšanja funkcija kao što su marketing, nabava,proizvodnja, prodaja. Logistika se u ovom slučaju koristi kao uslužna funkcija osnovnih poslovnih funkcija. Ona povezuje različite poslovne funkcije te ostvaruje čvrste tokove informacija i materijala među njima, što poboljšava međudjelovanje i mogućnosti planiranja. Samim time može se povećati efikasnost poslovanja, smanjiti troškovi i pridonijeti povećanju profita.
