Abstract
U diplomskom radu definirana je nabava, logistika, te logistika nabave. Također, obrađen je i just in time (JIT) sustav, s osvrtom na dva njegova oblika, kanban i kaizen. Na kraju rada obrađena su dva poduzeća, Toyota i Uljanik d.d., te je napravljena komparacija primjene spomenutog sustava u svjetskim i hrvatskim poduzećima. Proveden je i intervju sa voditeljem nabave Specijalne bolnice za medicinsku rehabilitaciju Varaždinske Toplice kako bi se nadopunio uvid u stvarno stanje na tržištu nabave.
