Abstract
U današnje vrijeme društvene mreže postale su glavno komunikacijsko sredstvo populacije, a tijekom mrežne komunikacije se generiraju enormne količine podataka koje je moguće analizirati u različite svrhe. U radu su opisani pojmovi rudarenja podataka, prediktivne analitike i strojnog učenja. Također, opisane su najpoznatije i najčešće korištene metode klasifikacije te najpoznatiji algoritmi metode stabla odlučivanja – ID3, C4.5 (C5.0) i CART algoritam. U praktičnom dijelu rada metodom rudarenja podataka (stablo odlučivanja) analizirani su javno dostupni podaci prikupljeni putem društvenih mreža s ciljem stvaranja prediktivnih modela političke aktivnosti na društvenim mrežama.
