Abstract
U ovom radu objašnjeno je što je testiranje aplikacijskog softvera. Samo testiranje predstavljeno je kroz definicije testiranja, ciljeve testiranja, procesa testiranja kao dijela razvoja softvera, vrste testiranja, metode i strategije testiranja. Postoji mnogo podjela, a one osnovne ili najbliže većini testera objašnjenje su u ovom radu. Pojedine vrste su opisane teorijski, dok su druge detaljnije obrađene uz praktične primjere. Predstavljen je značaj testiranja te njegovo mjesto u razvoju softvera. Rad je temeljen na velikom broju izvora, ali i na vlastitom iskustvu testiranja. Pojedina testiranja objašnjena su iz mog ugla gledanja ili potkrijepljena događanjima u suvremenom svijetu čiji su uzrok dobro ili loše odrađeno testiranje.
