Abstract
Traženja ekstrema funkcija numeričkim metodama koje koriste iteracijske postupke i odabir metoda za traženje ekstrema s različitim postupcima za dobivanje zadovoljavajuće aproksimacije egzatnog riješenja. Postoje indirektne metode koje koriste funkciju i njenu derivaciju i direktne metode koje se koriste kada funkcija nije derivabilna i tada se koristi samo informacija o funkciji. U ovom radu prikazano je 5 metoda: metoda bisekcije, Newtonova metoda, metoda regula falsi, metoda zlatnog reza i Fibonaccijeva metoda.
