Abstract
Ovaj diplomski rad prvenstveno se bavi pitanjem otvorene znanosti, otvorenog pristupa i otvorenim podacima. Bitno je naglasiti kako cilj otvorene znanosti nije samo povećanje broja citiranja, već poboljšanje kvalitete znanstvenih istraživanja. Povijesni pregled rada nudi prikaz kroz najbitnija događanja koja su obilježila razvoj otvorene znanosti kakvu danas poznajemo. Jedno cijelo poglavlje bavit će se pitanjem otvorene znanosti u Hrvatskoj, a drugo u svijetu. Zadnji dio rada odnosi se na istraživanje koje je provedeno nad zaposlenicima FOI-a, ali i na usporedbu s druga dva istraživanja: „Open science practices in higher education: Discussion of survey results from research and teaching staff in Germany“ i „Open Science in Lattice Gauge Theory community".
