Abstract
Ovaj rad istražuje povijest C++ jezika, jednog od najvažnijih programskih jezika u računalnom programiranju. Obrađivat će se povijest programskih jezika i kako je C++ nastao iz njih. Fokus će biti na tome kako i zašto je Bjarne Stroustrup napravio C++ i kako se je on razvijao kroz godine putem raznih standarda. Osim toga još će se usporediti povezanost C++ s ostalim programskim jezicima te napravit ću vremensku crtu često korištenih jezika i njihovu povezanost. Kroz ovaj rad, sintetizira se znanje o povijesti C++ jezika, njegovim standardima i povezanosti s drugim jezicima. Otkriva se važnost ovog jezika u računalnom programiranju te njegov utjecaj na suvremenu informatiku.
