Abstract
Tema ovog rada je „Društvena diskontna stopa“ koja predstavlja ključnu komponentu u evaluaciji isplativosti vladinih projekata poput investicija u infrastrukturu, unapređenje zdravstvenog sustava, suočavanje s klimatskim promjenama i slično. Društvena diskontna stopa predstavlja stopu po kojoj se diskontiraju budući novčani tokovi projekta kako bi se odredila sadašnja vrijednost i tako procijenila isplativost određene investicije. U radu će se objasniti pojam i obilježja društvene diskontne stope, kao i metode kojima se ista određuje. Također će se objasniti važnost provođenja analize troškova i koristi i potreba diskontiranja u evaluaciji projekata. Kroz primjere će biti opisani i ilustrirani izračuni osnovnih kriterija koji se koriste za procjenu isplativosti projekta, a ključni su u donošenju konačnih odluka o investiranju.
