Social networks have become the daily routine of almost every man. In addition to communication, they are a current medium for monitoring important news, information and educational content. On social networks, they can find a variety of creative content that can motivate each individual and encourage creative work. Such content can greatly help students and teachers to encourage creativity in students. Creativity and creative teaching are key to achieving quality and motivating teaching. The aim of this paper is to see the role of social networks such as Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest in encouraging the creativity of students who are being educated for the teaching profession. The research was conducted by an online anonymous survey on a sample of 81 students from the Faculty of Education.. The paper presents creative ideas and activities that can be used in the educational process, and were found on the social networks Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest. The results of the research show that students, future teachers, use these social networks to motivate and encourage creative work. They are users of various groups, sites and profiles on these social networks where they find various creative ideas that they used during their studies. Most students used creative ideas and activities to encourage students ’creativity in the professional pedagogical practice and public classes they held during their studies. It is important that students keep up with the development of science and technology that can help them in the educational process.
