When we talk about ergonomics that refers to a science whose purpose is to adjust products to be suitable for the human body. Thus, computer ergonomics deals with the adaptation of computer equipment and organization of working place to reduce the consequences of excessive work on the computer. Desktops, laptops, tablets and even smartphones, with their advantages and practical use, leave certain consequences that, if we are not familiar with and if we don't stick to ergonomic principles, can cause serious problems. Primary school students whose organism is in the most important phase of growth and development are especially exposed to this. So, this paper observes the basic ergonomic principles of computer work and computer workplace design, the suitability of these principles for students and brings some health problems that the use of computers brings. The goal is to make them aware of the risks behind working on a computer. A survey was conducted on a sample of 72 primary school students to examine their familiarity with ergonomic principles, how much they apply ergonomic principles in their work, the suitability of their computer workplace at home and whether they experience certain symptoms when using computers inappropriately. Analysis of the results shows that students at home have more appropriate computer workplace that partially adhere to ergonomic principles, but students are not familiar with the ergonomic principles themselves because they do not know what it is, but through observational learning by direct modeling students have acquired some knowledge of ergonomic principles when working ona a computer.
