Abstract
Pandemija koronavirusa, respiratorne bolesti COVID-19, pojavila se krajem 2019. godine u Kini. Osim gospodarskih, političkih, društvenih i kulturnih posljedica, ostavlja i velike zdravstvene posljedice. Djeca, kao najranjiviji dio društvene zajednice također su izložena posljedicama pandemijske krize. Karantenske mjere dovele su do zatvaranja škola, vrtića i drugih obrazovnih ustanova, ograničenja slobode kretanja i socijalne interakcije što je uvelike utjecalo na normalan dječji razvoj i mentalno zdravlje. U ovom radu opisano je mentalno zdravlje djece za vrijeme pandemije, kako i na koji način djeca reagiraju na krizne i stresne situacije te koji su najčešći negativni činioci pandemije.
Abstract (english)
A pandemic of coronavirus, a respiratory disease of COVID-19, appeared at the end of 2019 in China. In addition to the economic, political, social and cultural consequences, it leaves great health consequences. Children, as the most vulnerable part of society, are also exposed to the effects of the pandemic crisis. Quarantine measures have led to the closure of schools, kindergartens and other educational institutions, restrictions on freedom of movement and social interaction, which greatly affects the normal development of children and mental health. This paper describes the mental health of children during a pandemic, how and in what way children react to crisis and stressful situations, and what are the most common negative factors of a pandemic.
