Abstract
Mediji su se postupno razvijali, ali danas zaokupljuju cijeli svijet te su dio naše svakodnevice. Dječji časopis jedan je od medija koji se danas zanemaruje, a važan je segment za razvoj i educiranost učenika. Dječji časopis „Smib“ ima dugu tradiciju u Hrvatskoj te je danas jedan od najzastupljenijih časopisa koji se koristi u redovnoj nastavi. Svrha časopisa je približiti učenicima gradivo na što zanimljiviji način, proširiti njihovo znanje, razvijati sposobnosti i kreativnost. U ovom radu saznat će se kolika se važnost stavlja na korištenje dječjih časopisa u redovnoj nastavi te istražiti na koji način učitelji to čine i potiču učenike na njihovo korištenje. Osim toga, istražit će se pozitivne strane korištenja dječjih časopisa u redovnoj nastavi te njihovu povezanost s predmetima redovne nastave. Anketni upitnik ispunilo je 74 učitelja na području Republike Hrvatske. Istraživanje je pokazalo da učitelji koriste sadržaje iz dječjih časopisa u redovnoj nastavi, najčešće na satu hrvatskog jezika.
Abstract (english)
The media has developed gradually, but today they occupy the whole world and are part of our everyday life. Children's magazine is one of the most neglected media nowadays, even though it is an important segment for pupils' development and education. Children's magazine "Smib" has a long tradition in Croatia and today is one of the most represented magazines used in regular classes. The purpose of the magazine is to bring students closer to the curriculum in the most interesting way, to expand their knowledge, develop skills and creativity. In this thesis, we will find out how much importance is placed on the use of children's magazines in regular classes and explore how teachers use them and how they encourage students to do the same. In addition, we will explore the positive aspects of using children's magazines in regular classes and connection between them. The survey was completed by 74 teachers in the Republic of Croatia. The research showed that teachers use content from children's magazines in regular classes, most often in Croatian language classes.
