Abstract
U radu se predstavlja utjecaj šaha na učenike i njihov razvoj u suvremenom obrazovanju. Rad započinje pojmovnim određenjem šaha kao igre. Također se proučavaju i teorije šaha, povijesni razvoj, pravila šaha te strategija i taktika. U radu se razmatraju obrazovne karakteristike, metode obrade šahovskih programa te matematički zadatci na šahovskoj ploči. Navedeni su i načini, metode i principi koji se koriste u šahu i u nastavi. Postoji mnogo metoda kojima se učitelj služi u nastavi šaha, a sve imaju iste principe, svaka poduka kreće od jednostavnijeg i očitog prema složenijem i zahtjevnijem.
Abstract (english)
In this research paper we will present our thesis on the influence of chess on primary school students and their development in modern education. Firstly, we will define chess as a game. Then, we will define the theory of chess, its development through history, the rules of chess and its tactics and strategies. Secondly, we will work out our thesis by elaborating terms and concepts, such as educational characteristics and chess processing methods. Also, we will list functions, methods and principles used in chess and in classes. There are many methods which are used by teachers when teaching about chess. All of them have the same principles. Every lesson has the same course, starting from the basics and working towards more complicated and complex knowledge.
