The subject of this thesis is learning through games in teaching of musical culture, which includes musical games with singing, musical games with melodies or notes, musical games with rhythms and musical games while listening music. As part of the work an action research was conducted and it was taking place during 2022/23 school year in five terms in in the Primary school of Josip Kozarac Slatina in a fourth grade. The aim of this study was to examine interest of fourth grade students in musical games during lessons of musical culture. During the research, two musical games from each domain were conducted. From domain of musical games with singing, music games Who sings? and don't forget the lyrics, were conducted. From domain of musical games with melodies or notes, music games like musical quiz with matrix and music quiz with group syllable NA. From domain of musical games with rhythms we played two musical games: rhythmical echo game and game of broken telephone. Also, from domain of musical games while listening music, we played musical chairs and dancing with balloons. After each musical game that has been conducted, students had to fill out the questionnaire about how interesting they found the the music game that has been conducted. The survey included 17 respondents i.e. 11 of them were girls and 6 of them were boys. Also, with help of a reflective diary, interactions and emotions of the students during games were recorded. The results of the research showed that the students were interested in musical games especially in games like musical chairs and then in games Who sings?,musical quiz with matrix, don't forget the lyrics, game of broken telephone, rhythmical echo game, music quiz with group syllable NA and dancing with balloons.
