The influence of the media on children, from an early age, is extremely large nowadays. The child has the right to privacy and protection, and digitization enables the potential violation of the child's rights. Children are often not aware of the dangers they may encounter in the digital environment, so they need to be explained clearly, simply and clearly about possible dangers. Parents can also violate a child's privacy by posting photos that reveal their identity. Through this work, the importance of awareness of children's rights to privacy and protection in the digital age is emphasized. The aim of the work is to identify and describe various challenges, implications and possible solutions related to children's privacy in the digital environment. Methods of literature review, content analysis and synthesis were used. By searching various databases with key words, works were singled out that provide information about children's rights and how to respect them, possible potential dangers for children on the Internet, dangers that parents themselves can lead their children into, and various solutions that can be used to prevent children. Every child has the right to be protected and safe in the digital environment, therefore it is necessary to promote children's rights and support them through growing up.
