In the modern world which is constantly evolving, there is no place for the traditional school. Though the critics are often pointed on the traditional way of teaching, we are still not the witness of a school in which the modern way of teaching has come to life. Respecting „the tradition“ we are ignoring, unfortunately, needs of our children. In the tendency of making modern schools, we have to turn to development and fostering of important human characteristic - creativity. In creativity lies the key of the future progress and because of that it is important to encourage creativity from childhood. The important part of it are the schools and it's teachers who must build a pleasant classroom atmosphere and provide its students full freedom of expression. That kind of schools will have satisfied students which will gladly come to school, be brave in expressing their ideas and opinions, genuine, full of confidence. Only that kind of schools will raise up children who will lead the humanity to the better future. The main goal of this action research Encouraging creativity in primary education was to offer the students convenient and comfortable atmosphere and the freedom of expression, thereby encouraging their creativity conducting all kind of creative activities and creative thinking techniques, within all the school subjects. Although I met with all kind of problems in devising, organization and implementation of activities, also with the release process of student thinking, I manage to lead the students to the path of creativity. That kind of organized schooling, except it taught with success on the field of creativity development, it brought fun and general satisfaction in the classroom among the students.
