Abstract
Uvod: Daktiloskopija, odnosno analiziranje otisaka prstiju na mjestu događaja postala je jedna od najvažnijih metoda pronalaska počinitelja zbog svojstava otisaka papilarnih linija koji su neponovljivi i jedinstveni kod svake osobe. Ovisno o vrsti podloge na kojoj se latentni otisak nalazi potrebno je koristiti pouzdanu i učinkovitu metodu za tu podlogu kako bi otisak postao vidljiv i pogodan za daljnje analiziranje. Cilj: Svrha ovog rada je utvrditi koja je metoda izazivanja latentnih tragova papilarnih linija na prstima najučinkovitija na kojoj vrsti podloge. Metode: U radu su korištene tri metode za izazivanje tragova papilarnih linija, a to su obični prah, magnetni prah i cijanoakrilatne pare. Analiza se vršila na različitim podlogama kako bi se usporedila kvaliteta pojedinačnih metoda. Rezultati: Provedenom analizom na svim podlogama utvrđeno je da su tragovi nakon tretiranja vidljivi i pogodni za daljnje testiranje. Zaključci: Metoda magnetnog praha najučinkovitija je na celuloznim prerađevinama i limenkama dok je cijanoakrilat najpogodniji u slučajevima staklenih i metalnih materijala.
Abstract (english)
Introduction: Dactyloscopy, also known as fingerprint analysis at a crime scene has become one of the most important methods of finding find a suspect by using the papillary lines which are singular and unique to each person. Depending on which type of surface the latent fingerprint is on, it is necessary to use a reliable and efficient method for that exact surface so the fingerprint would become visible and suitable for further analysis. Objective: the purpose of this thesis is to determine which method of detecting latent traces of papillary lines of the fingerprints is the most efficient depending on the different types of surfaces. Methods: 3 methods for detecting papillary lines have been used and they are common powder, magnetic powder and cyanoacrylate fumes. The analysis was carried out on different surfaces so the quality of each method could be compared. Results: the analysis carried out on all the surfaces has resulted in visible traces of fingerprints which are suitable for further analysis. Conclusion: the method using the magnetic powder is the most effcient one on celulose products and cans whilst the cyanoacrylate is the most suitable in materials made of glass and metal.
