Intersections in cities are areas on roads where congestions often appear. In cases where intersections arent made by the rules, over period of time permeability will decrease and vehicles waiting to pass threw intersection will increase. That will bring more problems like traffic accidents which include vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists. To avoid those situations intersections are required to be adjusted for vehicle demand. This thesis research will carry traffic flow regulation methods that are used in America and Europe over fifty years and till today are adapting to current motorization rate. Method that is efficient is method of left turn prohibitions. It will be described and adapted on two intersections in city of Zagreb. Crossroads of Slavonska avenija-Kruge and T junction which includes Avenija Gojka Šuška and Street of Rudolfa Kolaka. Intersections will be adapted to necessary redirections of traffic and denivelations on specific points. Other less intrusive method, that in Croatia is little known, but in other countries is used for some time is method of preventing vehicles to enter intersection if driver is not sure he can left that crossroad by the time his green phase is over. This method does not demand reconstructions or traffic redirections, but requires to put horizontal signalization inside intersection.
