Abstract
Svaka generacija mobilnih mreža sadrži razna poboljšanja koja omogućuju korisnicima brže i kvalitetnije korištenje raznih usluga. Pošto se korisnici često kreću kroz mrežu, postoji mogućnost da prijeđu iz područja pokrivanja jedne ćelije u područje pokrivanja druge ćelije. Zbog toga mreža mora omogućiti preuzimanje korisničkog poziva iz jedne u drugu ćeliju. U radu će biti prikazane vrste tehnika preuzimanja u mobilnim mrežama različitih generacija. Također biti će prikazani najvažniji parametri koji utječu na aktivaciju takvog procesa kao što je jačina signala koju mobilni uređaj zaprima od baznih stanica. Pošto svaka generacija definira različitu arhitekturu mreže, mrežni elementi moraju biti usklađeni da bi se ispravno obavilo preuzimanje poziva. Stoga rad daje detaljnu analizu procedura preuzimanja poziva kroz različite generacije mobilnih mreža. Također daje objašnjenje uloge mrežnih elemenata u procesu preuzimanja poziva. Na kraju rada prikazana je komparativna analiza značajki za različite vrste preuzimanja poziva.
Abstract (english)
Each new generation of mobile networks contains new improvements which enable users faster and more quality usage of different services. Whereas users often change location, there is a possibility to transfer from one cell to another. Because of that, the network has to enable handover between two cells. This paper will show various techniques of handover in relations of mobile networks in different generations. The most important parameters which affect activation of such a process as it is the strength of the signal which a mobile device takes from base stations will also be shown. Because each generation defines different network architecture, network components have to be harmonized to be able to perform handover. Therefore this paper gives a detailed analysis of handover procedures trough different generations of mobile networks. Also, it gives a clear explanation of a role network element in process of handover. At the end of this paper, a comparative analysis of features for different types is also shown.
