Abstract
Autocesta A6 okosnica je hrvatske prometne mreže jer integrira hrvatski prostor i povezuje ga s europskim prometnim koridorima. Ova autocesta povezuje ekonomski najvitalnija područja Hrvatske ali također značajno otvara Hrvatsku prema zemljama srednje i istočne Europe. Jedna od ključnih odrednica cestovnog prometa svake države je sigurnost u prometu. Da bi se povećala sigurnost prometa na autocestama potrebno je provoditi stalnu evidenciju prometnih nesreća i uzroka nastanka kako bi se klasificirale dionice autocesta na kojima postoji veća mogućnost od nastanka prometnih nesreća. Klasifikacijom dionica autoceste omogućilo bi se pravovremeno poduzimanje odgovarajućih mjera za sanaciju potencijalno opasnih mjesta i smanjenje mogućnosti nastanka prometnih nesreća. Da bi se izvršila klasifikacija potrebno je prikupiti podatke o prometnim nesrećama i primjenom relevantne metode identificirati potencijalno opasna mjesta. Cilj je dobiti uvid u stvarno stanje sigurnosti za pojedinu dionicu autoceste što je iznimno bitno za poduzimanje mjera za smanjenje prometnih nesreća i omogućavanje sigurnih uvjeta vožnje.
Abstract (english)
The A6 motorway is the backbone of Croatia’s traffic network because it integrates its territory and provides the country with a gateway to the transit corridors of Europe. This motorway links the economically most developed parts of Croatia and it opens the country to Central and Eastern Europe. One of the key factors in any country’s road traffic is its safety. To increase the traffic safety on motorways it is necessary to keep records of traffic accidents and their imminent causes, in order to classify road sections that have a higher risk of traffic accidents. By classifying sections of the motorway, it would be possible to respond appropriately to the dangerous locations at the right time and to reduce the possibility of traffic accidents. In order to perform the much-needed classification, it is necessary to collect the data on traffic accidents and to apply the appropriate methods to identify hazardous locations. The ultimate goal is to gain insight into the real state of safety for particular sections of the motorway, which is extremely important for taking measures to reduce traffic accidents and enabling safe driving conditions.
