Abstract
Analiza performansi mlaznoga motora u režimu krstarenja sa svrhom opisa uvjeta koji utječu na rad mlaznoga motora, na različitim režimima krstarenja. Za razmatranje problematike funkcioniranja mlaznoga motora na visokim razinama leta, mora se poznavati princip rad mlaznoga motora i komponenti motora. U rad će se također opisivati kriteriji odabira visine krstarenja za optimalni rad motora. Za ispravni odabir visine moraju se poznavati atmosferski uvjeti. Osim atmosferskih uvjeta na performanse mlaznoga motora u režimu krstarenja utječe: težina zrakoplova, brzina leta, struktura zrakoplova, funkcionalnost mlaznoga motora i potrošnja goriva. Cilj istraživanja je prikazati performanse novih generacija motora i zrakoplova na visokim razinama leta, te njihovu mogućnost za preseljenje plovidbe zračnoga prometa na više razine, čime dolazi do uštede goriva od strane zrakoplovnih kompanija i smanjenja zagušenosti zračnog prometa na srednjim razinama leta.
Abstract (english)
The jet engine performance analysis during cruise for the purpose of describing conditions that effect jet engine operating conditions on different cruise levels. In order to study the issues of jet engine operations on higher flight levels, it is necessary to be familiar with jet engine operating principles as well as engine components. This thesis will also elaborate cruise altitude criteria for optimal engine performance. For correct altitude selection it is important to know the atmospheric conditions which, with other factors, impact on jet engine performances during cruise. Those factors are aircraft weight, flight speed, aircraft structure, jet engine functionality and fuel consumption. The purpose of this research is to present new generation engines and aircraft performances on higher altitudes, as well as the possibility to shift air navigation on higher levels which would affect air carrier’s fuel cost and air traffic congestion on middle flight levels.
