The aviation industry has evolved rapidly over history and is one of the strongest branches of traffic, and aircraft and their constructions are one of the reasons why aircraft are among the safest modes of travel. There is always search for newer, better ideas that ultimately results in a better product. Materials are no exception, and those with better characteristics have always been looked for because the development of materials has improved the structures and performance of the aircraft itself. From wood, which used to be the most common material in the past, through aluminum, titanium, steel and their various alloys, composite materials have emerged that, as new materials, provide better aircraft qualities. The main goal for all manufacturers is to make the aircraft as lightweight as possible without losing the aircraft performance. The advantage of composites not only reduces the mass of aircraft, but also increases the overall performance of aircraft due to the properties they contain and thus compete with current materials. How much they have evolved and how competitive they are is also shown by the fact that they are increasingly represented in aircraft structures and in some aircraft over 50%. It is not easy to design an aircraft because it is subject to many stresses and loads, and care must be taken when selecting materials because mistakes can be expensive.
