Abstract
Autocesta A2, kao dio mreže autocesta u Republici Hrvatskoj, predstavlja vrlo važan čimbenik u povezivanju s europskom prometnom mrežom koji omogućava gospodarski razvoj države. U radu su navedene opće značajke autoceste, povijesni razvoj i način njenog financiranja. Temeljem prikupljenih podataka o brojenju i strukturi prometa određene su uporabne/eksploatacijske značajke autoceste. Posebna pozornost posvećena je sigurnosti prometa na autocesti. Kako bi se povećala sigurnost i kako bi se dobio uvid u kritične dionice, potrebno je provoditi stalnu analizu prometnih nesreća. Na kraju rada donesen je zaključak na temelju provedenog istraživanja.
Abstract (english)
The A2 motorway, as part of the motorway network of the Republic Croatia, represents a very important factor in connecting with the European motorway network that enables the economic development of the country. General characteristics of the motorway, historical development and the way of financing are being presented in this paper. Based on the data collection of traffic count and structure, the exploitation characteristics of the motorway had been determined. Special attention is dedicated to the safety of traffic on the motorway. In order to increase the safety of the motorway and to gain insight into critical segments of the motorway, it is necessary to constantly analyse traffic accidents. At the end of this paper, a conclusion will be drawn from the conducted research.
