Abstract
U ovom završnom radu prikazana je struktura transportnih mreža. Objašnjeni su čimbenici formiranja transportnih mreža i faktori koji omogućuju kako bi prometni sustav mogao funkcionirati što učinkovitije. Nadalje, opisom i podjelom transportnih sustava naglašena je njihova uloga u strukturi transportnih mreža te njihova učinkovitost na globalnoj razini. Detaljnim opisom važnosti logističkih sustava prikazuje se odnos, ali i neophodna suradnja između logističkih i transportnih sustava. Daljnjim definiranjem, ali i podjelom transportnih mreža prikazana je mogućnost transporta bilo kakvog tereta jednog mjesta na drugo. Navođenjem čimbenika formiranja robnih tokova te modela organizacije intermodalnog prijevoza objašnjena je i infrastruktura i sustavi transportnih mreža što je kasnije primijenjeno kako na detaljnu analizu transportnih mreža Europske unije tako i na analizu transportnih mreža Republike Hrvatske te položaj Hrvatske u Europskoj prometnoj mreži.
Abstract (english)
In this final paper, the structure of transport networks is explained. The factors of forming transport networks and the factors that enable the transport system to function as efficiently as possible are explained. Furthermore, the description and division of transport systems emphasized their role in the structure of transport networks and their efficiency at the global scale. A detailed description of the importance of logistics systems shows the relationship, but also the necessary cooperation between logistics and transport systems. Further definition, but also the division of transport networks shows the possibility of transporting any cargo from one place to another. The infrastructure and systems of transport networks were explained by stating the factors that form commodity flows and the model of organization of intermodal transport, which was later applied to the detailed analysis of transport networks of the European Union and the analysis of transport networks of the Republic of Croatia.
