Abstract
Bespilotne letjelice ili dronovi su letjelice čijim se letom upravlja na daljinu ili autonomno. Daljinski upravljane bespilotne letjelice upravljaju se radiosignalima, dok se kod autonomnih bespilotnih letjelica podaci o predviđenoj ruti unose unaprijed prije samog leta. Bespilotne letjelice, kao i većina novih tehnologija u zrakoplovstvu, prvenstveno su bile razvijane za vojne namjene. Prvenstveno su bile korištene kao vojni ciljevi. Nagli razvoj i primjena bespilotnih letjelica u civilne svrhe počeo je u 21. stoljeću. Danas se dronovi koriste za široki spektar komercijalnih primjena od snimanja i fotografiranja do detektiranja i nadzora gašenja požara, nadzor usjeva u agrikulturi, pregled strukture zrakoplova i kvalitete podloge uzletno-slijetnih staza, itd. Bespilotne letjelice su u današnje doba postale dostupne svima te su iz tog razloga, ali i iz razloga sigurne implementacije bespilotnih letjelica u sustav zračnog prometa doneseni zakonski propisi na globalnim, kontinentalnim i nacionalnim razinama kojima se regulira uporaba bespilotnih letjelica. U diplomskom radu napraviti će se usporedba performansi bespilotnih letjelica kao što su maksimalna brzina leta, maksimalna visina leta, istrajnost i dolet te će se usporedbom tih parametara doći do zaključka kakve su performanse bespilotnih letjelica potrebne za obavljanje određenih zadaća.
Abstract (english)
Unmanned aerial vehicles or drones are aircraft that do not have the crew on board as they are remotely piloted by the pilot on the ground. Unmanned aerial vehicles can be controlled by radio signals, while in the case of autonomous drones, the data on the planned route is entered in advance before the flight. The beginnings of drones started in the military as is the case for most technologies. The rapid growth of drones in commercial use started in the 21st century. Today drones are used in a wide range of applications, from photograph and video shooting, surveillance, firefighting, crop inspection, aircraft structure inspection, runway inspections, etc. Regulations are presented because unmanned aerial vehicles have become available to the public, but also for reasons of safe implementation of unmanned aerial vehicles into air traffic systems, and they can be on a global, continental, or national level. Performance comparison of unmanned aerial vehicles for civil purposes will be presented in these final theses. Comparison will be based on performances like maximum speed, maximum flight altitude, endurance, and range of the unmanned aerial vehicle. Comparing these parameters will lead to the conclusion of what kind of performances are needed to perform certain tasks.
