Abstract
Zalihe predstavljaju ključan element u kontroli poslovanja poduzeća koja se bave proizvodnjom ili prodajom određenih materijala. Osim što pomažu u kontroliranju poslovanja poduzeća, zalihe poduzeću istovremeno stvaraju troškove. Iz tog razloga količine zaliha je potrebno nadzirati i kontrolirati njihovo stanje. Sigurnosna zaliha označava količinu robe koja je dovoljna da zadovolji potražnju tijekom vremena isporuke sljedeće narudžbe. Navedena sigurnosna zaliha uvelike ovisi o razini usluge, ali i brojnim drugim elementima poput vremena isporuke, pouzdanosti dobavljača i sl. Razina usluge je dostupnost proizvoda kupcu u određenom trenutku. S obzirom na visinu razine usluge, poduzeće održava količinu sigurnosne zalihe.
Abstract (english)
Stocks represent a key element in controlling the operations of companies engaged in the production or sale of certain materials. Although stocks help control company's operations, they also create additional costs for the company at the same time. For this reason, the quantities of stocks need to be monitored and their condition controlled. Safety stock indicates the quantity of goods sufficient to meet demand until the planned delivery of the next order. Safety stock largely depends on the service level, in addition to many other elements, such as delivery time, reliability of the supplier, etc. Service level is the availability of the product to the customer at a particular time. Given the service level, the company maintains a quantity of safety stock.
