Abstract
Mnogi gradovi bilježe povećanje broja stanovnika što je rezultat urbanizacije, odnosno useljavanje iz ruralnih područja u gradove. Takva situacija podrazumijeva i veću potražnju za robom pa sukladno tome i potrebu za opskrbu novonastalih potražnji. Da bi se zadovoljila novonastala potražnja, pošiljatelji, prijevoznici i dostavljači sve više daju pažnje učinkovitoj dostavi robe u grad putem kapilarne distribucije. Kapilarna distribucija predstavlja završnu etapu distribucijske mreže u kojoj se prodajnim mjestima odnosno kupcima isporučuje roba. Sukladno tome, provedena je analiza kapilarne distribucije robe široke potrošnje na primjeru odabrane tvrtke te su pruženi prijedlozi unaprjeđenja postojećeg sustava.
Abstract (english)
Many cities are recording an increase in population as a result of urbanization, ie immigration from rural areas to cities. Such a situation implies a higher demand for goods and, accordingly, the need to supply the newly created demand. To meet the emerging demand, shippers, carriers and couriers are increasingly paying attention to the efficient delivery of goods to the city through last mile delivery. Last mile delivery represents the final stage of the distribution network in which goods are delivered to points of sale or customers. Accordingly, an analysis of the capillary distribution of consumer goods was performed on the example of the selected company and suggestions were made for improving the existing system.
