On the most important corridors of the infrastructure network in the Republic of Croatia (further in text RH) the research of traffic demand in function of dangerous goods transport will be conducted, taking in consideration the need of dangerous goods transfer between various traffic's subsystems. On the basis of a conducted analysis the security and technical-technological criteria will be determined for the needs of capacity integration modelling of a railway infrastructure for transport of dangerous goods in RH. Each element of the railway infrastructure will be pondered by quantifiers, defined on the basis of the features of security, reliability and availability of infrastructure. Modalities of aforementioned characteristics will belong to ordinal scales (i.e. sequentially marked or rank variables). Modalities of speed, time of occupancy and maximal load characteristics of an individual part of railway infrastructure will belong to numerical scales (those to whom the value is assigned according to a proportional scale). On the basis of the aforementioned, in this thesis the macroscopic model of capacity integration of a remaining railway infrastructure for transport of dangerous goods on space-time networks will be made. The model determines the optimal level of integration of the network for dangerous goods transport, and on the basis of that model the capacity of the railway infrastructure network for dangerous goods transport will be optimized. Aimed level of the technical-technological integration of the railway infrastructure network for transport of dangerous goods will be set in advance.
