Abstract
Suvremeni sustavi za upravljanje i nadzor računalnih mreža obuhvaćaju mnoštvo usluga i funkcionalnosti koje povećavaju učinkovitost i kvalitetu rada računalnih mreža. Samim time, navedeni sustavi pružaju i mnoštvo pojedinih značajki koje se mogu uspoređivati. Iz analize takvih sustava obuhvaćene ovim radom te usporedbom njihovih značajki po određenim kriterijima, vidljive su različite nijanse sličnih, a naizgled i jednakih usluga koje pružaju. Usporedbom se dolazi do zaključka o manjim razlikama između suvremenih rješenja za upravljanje i nadzor računalnih mreža koje nisu od značajnog utjecaja na same performanse sustava te nerijetko predstavljaju isključivo preferencije potencijalnih korisnika.
Abstract (english)
Contemporary network management and monitoring systems include a plethora of services and functionalities which boost efficiency and overall quality of networks. Considering that, aforementioned systems contain a lot of features which are eligible for comparison. An analysis of such systems, which is a part of this paper, and associated comparison by a set of specific criteria, shows different shades of some similar, and seemingly equal, functionalities offered by those systems. Conclusion which is derived from an aforementioned comparison suggests that the differences between compared systems are not that significant and that as such, they don't create a meaningful impact on system performance due to more often than not being a part of potential users' preference.
