Abstract
Intermodalni način prijevoza omogućuje iskorištenje prednosti pojedinih modova transporta, iskorištenje prijevoza te u konačnici pruža prilagodljivost i pouzdanost prijevoza tereta na globalnoj razini. Pomorske luke usko su vezane s intermodalnim prijevozom jer su one ključna čvorišta u intermodalnom prijevozu robe između zemalja. Također, pomorske luke omogućuju ukrcaj i iskrcaj velike količine tereta koja se prevozi pomorskim putevima. Kroz rad je navedena važnost intermodalnog prijevoza, posebice u pomorskom prometu s naglaskom na kontejnerski promet. U radu su objašnjene karakteristike luke Rijeka i luke Kopar te njihove prednosti, mane, njihova usporedba te buduća ulaganja i smjernice za budućnost razvoja promatranih luka.
Abstract (english)
The intermodal mode of transport enables the use of the advantages of individual modes of transport, the use of transport and ultimately provides the adaptability and reliability of cargo transport on a global level. Seaports are closely related to intermodal transport because they are key hubs in the intermodal transport of goods between countries. Also, seaports enable the loading and unloading of a large amount of cargo that is transported by sea. The importance of intermodal transport, especially in maritime transport with an emphasis on container transport, is stated throughout the paper. The paper explains the characteristics of the port of Rijeka and the port of Kopar, as well as their advantages, disadvantages, their comparison, as well as future investments and guidelines for the future development of the observed ports.
