Abstract
U radu će se uvodno opisati povijesni razvoj biciklističkog prometa, zakonski okvir te će se navesti prednosti korištenja bicikla i uloga biciklističkog prometa kao dijela održivog i ekološki prihvatljivog prometnog sustava. Analizirat će se stanje sigurnosti biciklističkog prometa i biciklističke infrastrukture u Gradu Zagrebu. Izvršit će se anketno istraživanje korisnika koji koriste bicikl kao prijevozno sredstvo te terensko istraživanje odnosno, brojenje biciklističkog prometa na karakterističnim lokacijama. Na temelju provedenih istraživanja i analize navesti će se prijedlog mjera za unaprjeđenje biciklističkog prometa u Gradu Zagrebu.
Abstract (english)
The study describes the historical development of bicycle traffic, the legal framework and the advantages of using bicycles and the role of bicycle traffic as part of a sustainable and environmentally friendly transport system. The level of safety of cycling and the condition of cycling infrastructure in the City of Zagreb will be analyzed. A survey will be carried out on users who use a bicycle as means of transport, as well as field research in terms of bicycle traffic counting in specific locations. Based on the conducted research and analysis, a proposal for measures to improve bicycle traffic in the City of Zagreb will be announced.
