Abstract
Zaštitni pregled putnika i prtljage je temelj sigurnosti zrakoplovnog sustava već četiri desetljeća. Zaštitni pregled je detaljan i dugotrajan, ali također jedan od najpouzdanijih u otkrivanju i sprječavanju mogućih napada. Zaštitni pregled može se definirati kao fizičko pregledavanje pojedinaca i njihove prtljage koristeći za to predviđenu tehnologiju. Zaštitni pregled tereta, automatizirani nadzor i stvaranje profila putnika također spadaju u proces zaštitnog pregleda. Zaštitne kontrolne točke su namijenjene za sprječavanje otmica i terorističkih napada, te unošenja oružja i ostalih zabranjenih predmeta na komercijalni let. Svrha ovog istraživanja je analiziranje zaštitnih kontrolnih točaka i područja gdje su najpotrebnija, usporedba modela zaštitnog pregleda, njihovih prednosti i nedostataka, te njihov utjecaj na sustav zaštite zračne luke.
Abstract (english)
Passanger and baggage screening has been the foundation of the aviation security system for over four decades. Screening is detailed and time-consuming but also one of the most effective at detection and prevention of possible attacks. The term screening can be defined as the physical inspection of individuals and property using technology. Cargo screening, computorized surveillance of travelers, and profiling are all included in the screening process. Security screening checkpoints are intended to prevent hijackings, bombings, weapons or other dangerous object from being brought on board a commercial aircraft. Purpose of this research is to analyse the function of security checkpoints and areas where they are required, to compare screening methods and conclude benefits and flaws of the airport security system.
