Abstract
Istraživanjem obuhvaćenim ovim radom proučavane su objave Zorana Milanovića na njegovoj službenoj Facebook stranici tijekom trajanja predsjedničke kampanja potkraj 2019. godine. Metodom analize diskursa, analizirane su rečenice kroz njihovo nadjezično značenje te su uočene i izdvojene broje stilske figure. Zoran Milanović vješt je retoričar, no njegov specifičan komunikacijski stil ne nailazi uvijek na simpatije javnosti. Rezultatima analize objašnjene su retoričke i diskursne prakse Milanovića, kao i pretpostavljeni motivi uporabe pojedinih jezičnih figura. Metaforičkim iskazima te energičnim rječnikom naglašava svoje poruke, a elementima ideološke podjele suptilno se svrstava uz bok hrvatskom narodu i dopire do šireg kruga birača. Za vrijeme predsjedničke kampanje, Milanovićeva dominantna i izravna retorika obilježena je nešto mekšim i sofisticiranijim pristupom, čime je na odmjeren način ostao dosljedan svojoj govorničkoj autentičnosti. Predsjednička kampanja poslužila je kao uvid u političko i retoričko sazrijevanje Zorana Milanovića.
Abstract (english)
Research in this paper examined the posts of Zoran Milanović on his official Facebook page during the presidential campaign at the end of 2019. Using the method of discourse analysis, sentences were analyzed through their supralinguistic meaning, while some of the noticed figures of speech were classified and described. Zoran Milanović is a skilled rhetorician, but his particular communication style isn't always accepted or well-liked by the public. The results of the analysis closely explain the rhetorical and discourse practices of Milanović, as well as the assumed motives for the use of certain figures of speech. He emphasizes his messages with metaphorical statements and energetic vocabulary, and by using the elements of the ideological division he subtly classifies himself as one of the Croatian people and in that way reaches a wider circle of voters. During the presidential campaign, Milanović's dominant and direct rhetoric was marked by a somewhat softer and more sophisticated approach, thus remaining consistent with his oratorical authenticity in a thought-out way. The presidential campaign served as an insight into the political and rhetorical maturation of Zoran Milanović.
