The aim of this paper was to investigate the prevalence of the theory of UFO landing on island Pag, specifically on a location called the Pag Triangle, among locals and tourists, as well as to analyze available informations about this phenomenon from its discovery to this day so we could investigate the story of the emergence of this theory. The research includes production of a documentary report after filming Pag Triangle on the island of Pag, interviews with interlocutors who are relevant to this topic and a survey of the general opinion of the inhabitants. It questions how many elements of conspiracy theory are present in the story of Pag Triangle, given that a certain benefit is created by promoting the triangle as a tourist attraction. In the field, it turned out that the story of a UFO landing at that location is generally known among the inhabitants of the island of Pag, but almost no one believes in it. It was also determined that the Pag Triangle is not as visited as it is written in the media in recent years. An analysis of newspaper articles from the period of the discovery of the Pag Triangle shows that the media were the main trigger for spreading the theory of UFO landing, which eventually attracted tourists, and certain people saw it as an opportunity to make money. The paper provides theoretical frameworks for defining a documentary film and reportage, as well as a discussion of the approach to its realization and finally the course of production of a documentary about the Pag Triangle as a conspiracy theory. The main hypothesis that the locals are familiar with the theory of UFO landing on the Pag Triangle and that they believe in it proved to be partially correct, while the second, which says that the Pag Triangle is a visited tourist destination, has been refuted.
