Abstract
Energija i geopolitika izravno su povezane te jedna drugu međusobno oblikuju. Veoma mali, gotovo zanemariv broj zemalja vlastitim izvorima energije može zadovoljiti sve svoje potrebe, te ovise o uvozu iz drugih zemalja kako bi ostvarile taj cilj. Prirodni izvori nisu samo pokretač ekonomija i bitan faktor u donošenju političkih odluka, oni su i izvor potencijalnih sukoba. Upravo se tu krije znanstveni doprinos ovog rada, naime kako bi bili spremni suočiti se s potencijalnim izazovima važno je biti dobro upoznat sa stvarnim stanjem opskrbe energijom kako bi uvidjeli slabe točke i na vrijeme radili na ispravljanju istih. Početni cilj rada je upravo to, prikaz trenutnog stanja opskrbe energijom na teritoriju zemalja članica EU. Prvo će kroz prikaz dosadašnje literature biti predstavljene ovlasti EU u području energetske politike, energetska sigurnost te samo stanje energije u Uniji. Zatim će biti predstavljena dva geopolitička narativa proizašla iz Studije o sigurnosti opskrbe energijom i geopolitici. U trećem dijelu bit će govora dvostrukoj diverzifikaciji nakon kojeg će uslijediti predstavljanje svake pojedinačne zemlje članice. Za kraj će kroz prikaz dva konkretna projekta biti odgovoreno na pitanje o prisutnosti oba geopolitička diskursa u EU.
Abstract (english)
Energy and geopolitics are directly connected and shape each other. A very small, almost negligible number of countries can meet all their needs with their own energy sources, and depend on imports from other countries to achieve this goal. Natural resources are not only a driver of economies and an important factor in political decision-making, they are also a source of potential conflicts. This is where the scientific contribution of this paper lies, namely in order to be ready to face potential challenges, it is important to be well acquainted with the real state of energy supply in order to identify weak points and work on correcting them in time. The initial goal of the paper is just that, to show the current state of energy supply in the territory of EU member states. First, the EU's competences in the field of energy policy, energy security and the state of energy in the Union will be presented through a review of current literature. Then, two geopolitical narratives derived from the Study on Security of Energy Supply and Geopolitics will be presented. The third part will discuss double diversification, followed by a presentation of each individual member state. Finally, the question of the presence of both geopolitical discourses in the EU will be answered through the presentation of two specific projects.
