Abstract
Dobra komunikacija je temelj svih uspješnih međuljudskih odnosa. U radu je prikazano koliko je verbalna komunikacija značajna u govorima Ante Gotovine te kako ona utječe na cjelokupnu sliku. Cilj rada je utvrditi značenje verbalne komunikacije te na koji način je imidž Ante Gotovine interesantan za mlade odnosno srednjoškolce i studente. Za potrebe istraživanja anketnim upitnikom analizirani su govori generala Ante Gotovine iz 2012. i 2020. godine. Odabrana ciljna skupina su srednjoškolci i studenti s obzirom da su nezastupljeni u istraživanjima, osobito u području komunikacije i u temama o Domovinskom ratu. Prilikom analize govora generala Ante Gotovine vodili smo se s tri načela: cilj poruke, prepoznavanje slušatelja i pristup slušateljima. Iz rezultata istraživanja, vidljivo je da ispitanici prepoznaju da general Gotovina dobro prilagođava komunikaciju okolnostima. Komparacijom je također utvrđeno da je govor generala stabilan kroz vrijeme i u nastupima. Riječi generala su pod njegovom svjesnom kontrolom u odnosu na neverbalnu komunikaciju kojom se nesvjesno odaje. General bira prave riječi, pravim tonom te nije preopširan što vodi do uspješne verbalne i neverbalne komunikacije. Provedeno istraživanje doprinijet će novim znanstvenim spoznajama po pitanju mladih prema imidžu Ante Gotovine.
Abstract (english)
Quality communication is the foundation of all successful interpersonal relations. This paper shows the importance of verbal communication in Ante Gotovina's speeches and how it affects the overall image. The aim of the paper is to determine the meaning of verbal communication and show in which way the image of Ante Gotovina is interesting to young people - high school and college students. For this purpose, we analyzed the speeches of Ante Gotovina, in the period from 2012 to 2020. The selected target group was high school and university students, considering that they are not represented in researches in the field of communication and in topics about the Homeland War. The analysis of General Ante Gotovina's speech was guided by three principles: the goal of the message, recognizing the listeners and approaching the listeners. From the results of the research, it is evident that the respondents recognize that general Gotovina knows how to adapt his communication to circumstances. The research also found that the general's speech was consistent over time and during the performances. The General's words are under his conscious control in relation to the nonverbal communication by which he unconsciously revealed himself. The General is choosing the right words, in the right tone and he is not too extensive, thus leading to successful verbal and nonverbal communication. Nevertheless, the conducted research will contribute to new scientific knowledge on the issue of young people according to the image of Ante Gotovina.
